Doloris Petunia began as an experiment on a card table on the sidewalk of New York City’s Houston Street. Every weekend in the fall of 2008 Courtney and her dog (Doloris Petunia) would have customers lining up to buy the creations that Courtney had been making unofficially in her mind for years.
Doloris Petunia’s clients now come from every corner of the globe, and the original designs are carried in many of the world’s most fashion forward stores. Doloris Petunia has also garnered the attention of some of the world’s largest retailers, and she has created custom lines for brands such as Anthropologie and BHLDN.
